Local Summer Activities

Everyone looks forward to summer. No school, no homework, and no need to wake up before sunrise. But there are more pros to summer approaching than having no academics to worry about like going on vacation, working, or going on new adventures. But what if you need to figure out what to do this summer?
At Dublin Scioto High School, students and staff are seen as a community and come together to create a special bond.
Although the students at Dublin Scioto High School are free from performing any new academic activities and are now filled with this freedom and open schedule, summer is their favorite since there is nothing academic they need to do nothing and have less stress.
Restaurants
Local Cantina, several locations in and around Columbus
Matt Cubberly argues that “Local Cantina on Tuesdays because you can get a ridiculous amount of Tacos for a very small amount of money,” is a good place to go for date night. This family-owned local restaurant uses high-quality Mexican cuisine and craft beverages.
Throughout the years that they've been in business, Local Cantina has grown its team and created a company that has over a dozen locations. Local Cantina’s restaurant hours are 11:00 pm to 1:00 am from Sunday through Thursday, and 11:00 am to 2:00 am Friday through Saturday.
If going out isn't an option, feel free to take some advice from Danielle Henn who mentioned, “I honestly love to be at home! For me, the perfect date night would be making pizza at home and sitting outside to eat. I have the easiest homemade pizza dough recipe from a website called joyfoodsunshine.com and it's so much cheaper than ordering pizza too!”
