It’s that wonderful time of year at Dublin Scioto High School - homecoming week!
Starting Monday, September 18th, Scioto’s homecoming week celebrations will begin.
This year's homecoming theme is Barbie, so all things homecoming related will have a subtle hint to Barbie, Ken, pinks, pastels, and of course glitter.
What’s more of a better way to get into the spirit and excitement of homecoming by participating in Spirit Days? Details are available in the image to the left.
Senior cabinet member, Maria Manrique, says that there's more than just participating in spirit week theme days to show your excitement towards homecoming week.
Homecoming week also includes a pep rally on Friday, September 22 that will happen between 6th and 7th period. Staff and students will be following the assembly schedule that day. Scioto’s marching band and cheerleading team will both be at the center of the main gym.
The homecoming court will be formally introduced and Scioto’s student section will be leading everyone with a couple of cheers.
The annual Tug O’ War competition between grades will be the pep rally’s main highlight. It will be two faculty members leading 12 students of each grade.
Staff, students, friends and family can also attend the football game September 22nd, 7pm at Dublin Scioto High School, vs Canal Winchester, and show up in neon colors!
